How Roller Bowler Game Works:
The Roller Bowler game has made a comeback on the midway over the past 2 decades and for good reason. It can be played by people of all ages, yet it is a challenging game.Â
It cost a nominal amount to play Roller Bowler. Although prizes tend to be small, the chances of the player winning are good compared with other carnival games. Most operators offer to take back smaller prizes in trade for one larger.
Roller Bowler is played with a regulation bowling ball with a track about 8′ long. The game is level for the first half of the game, followed by a crest and a trough. The object of the game is to give the bowling ball just enough push to make it travel over the crest and come to rest in the trough. What commonly happens is that the players give the ball too much push and it travels over the crest. Then gathers momentum in the trough, hits a bumper at the end of the game. Then makes a return trip back to the player. The player usually over compensates by not giving the ball enough push to top the crest, and once again it returns back to the player.
Roller Bowler primarily is a game of skill, and the question comes how many times a player is willing to lose to acquire the necessary skill. The game can be won consistently with lots of practice but it really is a matter of luck for the average person to walk up and win without practice.
