How Meat Raffles Work

Meat raffles are conducted in “rounds.” Before each round begins, ticket sellers will walk around selling tickets (typically $2 or $3 each). Tickets have three numbers listed on them, meaning that if the wheel lands on either of those numbers, you win meat for that spin. Multiple people can have the same number, meaning there could be more than one winner per spin! As each round begins, the operator announces the number of spins of the wheel for that round.
